What is What Is Live PC Give PC 2013? is a one-day virtual event that encourages our community to contribute to local nonprofit organizations through a single online giving platform on November 8, 2013. The campaign is coordinated by Park City Community Foundation (PCCF), Summit County’s community foundation, in partnership with area nonprofit organizations.

2. What's the goal?

The vision of is a community where every citizen contributes to our nonprofit organizations. There are three primary goals:

  • Grow philanthropy in Summit County – bring new donors to our nonprofit organizations
  • Grow revenue for nonprofit organizations serving Summit County – create a new funding stream
  • Grow supporters – educate the community on the positive impact on their lives because of Summit County’s nonprofit organizations.

This year, our goal is to raise $750,000 from 3,500 donors in 24 hours! We’re especially targeting people who have never given to the campaign before – our goal is 500 new donors!

3. How does it work?

Through a community wide PR and marketing campaign, people are encouraged to visit, on November 8, 2013 and donate to nonprofit organizations. PCF contracts with Razoo to provide the online giving platform.

Park City Community Foundation is leading the campaign. Park City Community Foundation is Utah’s first community foundation and serves the donors and nonprofit organizations of Summit County, UT.

5. Who Can Participate In Live PC Give PC 2013?

Any individual may donate. Donations through Live PC Give PC 2013 to nonprofit organizations are tax deductible and irrevocable (donations will not be refunded). Contributions may be made via credit and debit card only.

6. How do I make a donation?

On November 8, click here, search for the charity you want to support, then click "donate" to enter the appropriate donation information. 7. Is there a minimum or maximum donation?

The minimum donation is $10. There is no maximum donation limit.

8. How much of my donation will go to the nonprofit?

The nonprofit organization will receive the full donation, less a flat rate of 4.9%, which covers the credit card processing and fees.

9. What Prizes Are Being Awarded During The Campaign?

Park City Community Foundation (PCCF) is offering prizes during the November 8, 2013 Live PC Give PC campaign. All prizes are additional grants to nonprofit organizations. We have three types of prizes:

  • NUMBER OF UNIQUE DONORS FOR ALL NONPROFITS – PCCF is offering cash grants for the top three organizations that have the most unique donors - $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000.
  • NUMBER OF UNIQUE DONORS FOR SMALL* NONPROFITS – PCCF is also offering a $2,500 prize for a small nonprofit with the most unique donors. Nonprofits in this category are also eligible for prizes in the main leaderboard, open to all nonprofits.
  • FIRST-TIME DONOR BONUS – As part of a challenge grant to engage new donors, a bonus $25 will be added to the contributions of the first 500 first-time donors to the Live PC Give PC campaign. In total, $12,500 will be raised.

*New for 2013 – The Live PC Give PC campaign will feature two leaderboards – one for all nonprofits and a second for small nonprofits. Eligibility requirements for the small nonprofit leaderboard will be determined based on annual budgets, once all nonprofits have officially registered.

10. Who will receive my contact information?

The organization(s) you choose to support will receive donor name and contact information, unless the donor chooses to make an anonymous contribution. As host of Live PC Give PC 2013, Park City Community Foundation will receive contact information for donors who participate in Live PC Give PC 2013 and do not give anonymously. This information is used solely to thank the donor for participating, provide the option to opt-in to receiving future notifications from Park City Community Foundation, and to notify the donor of future Live PC Give PC activities.

11. Can I get a refund?

All donations are final and cannot be refunded.

12. Do I need to have an account with Razoo to donate?

No, you do not need to create an account to make a donation. However, if you plan to give multiple times during Live PC Give PC 2013 creating an account means you only have to enter your credit card information once. Your account also collects your tax receipts in one location, enables you to track your donation, review the charities you support, and schedule future giving.

13. How do I get a tax receipt?

Upon successful processing of your donation, your tax receipt is emailed to you immediately by Razoo Foundation. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please retain your email donation receipt as an official record.

If you misplace this email, you can view your giving history and receipts by logging into your Razoo account, or request a duplicate receipt by emailing Please include your full name, date of donation, amount of donation, and name of your designated nonprofit.

15. What organizations are eligible to receive donor advisements and prizes?

To participate, nonprofit organizations must be based in Summit County, primarily serve Summit County or demonstrate a significant presence in Summit County. 17. How much of a donor’s contribution will be re-granted to my organization?

Your organization will receive the full donation, less a flat rate of 4.9%, which covers the credit card processing and fees.

18. How will donations made on Live PC Give PC 2013 be distributed?

Each donation made to your organization will be disbursed directly to your nonprofit from the Razoo Foundation around the tenth of the month following Live PC Give PC 2013. It will be disbursed via check, or you can sign up for electronic funds transfer here:

19. How do I view donor information?

You can access a real-time donation report by logging into your administrative account, going to your nonprofit page, and clicking the tab "donations." You can set the date filter and download this report into a .CSV file. Razoo also provides an online Disbursement report so you can cross-reference transactions re-granted in your monthly disbursement. You can access this under the "donations" tab by clicking the link "Disbursements".

20. Do I need to issue tax receipt to my donors??

No, donations made through Razoo will be receipted from Razoo Foundation. However, we do encourage you to send a thank you note to your donors letting them know how awesome they are.

About My Donation

All donations made on are made to the Razoo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization which permits donors to advise a regranting of their donations to qualified charitable organizations. It is Razoo Foundation’s normal practice to regrant 95.1% of its contribution to the qualifying organization as advised by the donor, retaining 4.9% for Razoo Foundation’s expenses (including credit card transaction costs). 100% of your online charitable gift is receipted as a charitable contribution to Razoo Foundation, advised for regrant to your chosen charity.
