Park City Community Foundation (PCCF) is offering prizes during the November 8, 2013 Live PC Give PC campaign. All prizes are additional grants to nonprofit organizations. We have three types of prizes:
*New for 2013 – The Live PC Give PC campaign will feature two leaderboards – one for all nonprofits and a second for small nonprofits. Eligibility requirements for the small nonprofit leaderboard will be determined based on annual budgets, once all nonprofits have officially registered.
Who can donate to Live PC Give PC?
Any individual may donate. Donations through Live PC Give PC 2013 are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
Is there a minimum donation? Is there a maximum donation?
The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum donation limit. Donations are tax-deductible and irrevocable (donations will not be refunded). Contribution may be made via credit and debit card only.
How much of the donation will go to the nonprofit?
The nonprofit organization will receive the full donation, less a flat rate of 4.9% which covers the credit card processing and Razoo.com fees. There is no fee to the nonprofit to participate in Live PC Give PC.
What nonprofits can participate?
For an organization to participate, they first must register and be approved by Park City Community Foundation. They must be based in or have ongoing programs in Summit County, Utah. All funds raised on 11.8.13 on www.livepcgivepc.org must be used in Summit County. To register, please visit the Nonprofit & Volunteer toolkit.
Is there a limit to the amount an organization can receive on Live PC Give PC on 11.8.13?
There is no maximum to the amount an organization may receive.
Can an organization track donations?
Organizations can track donations in real-time and have access to donor names and contact information, unless the donor chooses to make an anonymous contribution. As host of Live PC Give PC 2013, Park City Community Foundation will receive contact information for donors who participate in Live PC Give PC 2013. This information is used solely to thank the donor for participating, and there is the option to opt-in to receiving future notifications from Park City Community Foundation.
What is a unique donor?
A unique donor refers to a person who makes a donation to a nonprofit on livepcgivepc.org. Each person will be counted once in our "total donors" tally that will be updated every 30 minutes on the Live PC Give PC landing page. If one person makes donations to multiple organizations, they will be counted once per organization on the leader boards.
What else? Any fine print?
Park City Community Foundation can modify any restrictions or conditions if, in the sole judgment of the Board of Directors, such restriction or condition becomes unnecessary, incapable of fulfillment or inconsistent with the charitable needs of the community. As such, Park City Community Foundation reserves the right to deny or condition the distribution of prize grants if, in the judgment of its Board of Directors, such restriction or condition becomes necessary.
