Summer 2020! Children find happiness and learn best when exploring Nature in class and with horses.

$2,995

raised by 42 people

$10,000 goal

In these times of COVID, Another Way Summer Program must reduce the number of students in half... leaving us short on feeding the horses and providing access to the program to indigenous youth who cannot afford tuition. Your generous donations make it possible for children to spend the summer in nature with horses and in Friluftsliv learning of free air life.

Movement skills are critical as our students learn to be aware of their surroundings in deep and contemplative ways. 3 to 12 year old students experience the wisdom and connection of horses in this program... learning to discern, feel, and communicate with large animals. This depth of awareness of how they move when near a horse, how the horse receives messages from them, and how the human and horse work together toward a goal is not taught in many other settings.

Another Way School has the expertise, staff, and space to provide an exceptional outdoor learning program centered on the child's curiosity and nature's wisdom.

Another Way School is founded upon the Native American principle "when you come from the heart and are guided by Spirit, there is always Another Way." Our teachers are Montessori trained and integrate work from many of the world's pioneers in learning and science. Students learn the power of the "Talking Stick in Circle" and to respect one another and all life.
