UPDATE: The Four Onaqui Mares are Thriving at Wild Heart Sanctuary

We are thrilled to share with you some wonderful news about Giraffe, Grace, Miss Bliss, and Leilani - four remarkable Utah Onaqui Mustang Mares that we adopted. These stunning Mustangs once roamed freely with their herd and stallion across Utah's West Desert, but were unfortunately separated during a BLM round-up. A year ago, we welcomed them into our Wild Heart herd to provide them with a safe haven. Since then, they have become an integral part of our Wild Heart Sanctuary family, alongside Kokopelli, Wind Walker, Noble Moon, Durango, and Vashti, each with their own unique personalities.

We are reaching out to kindly request your assistance in caring for these four new family members. They require 100% grass hay and supplements, regular vet check-ups, and safety-proofing of all fencing, gates, a barn, and a sizeable special care stall, among other necessities. While it has been a joyous time for us at Wild Heart, caring for these magnificent creatures comes with a significant cost. Your donation will provide us with peace of mind and ensure that these exceptional animals receive the best care throughout their lifetime at the Sanctuary.

Your contribution can make an enormous difference in ensuring that these magnificent souls never have to experience fear or loneliness again in a holding pen. At Wild Heart Sanctuary, they have found their forever home, where they will be loved and cherished by all. We deeply appreciate your support!

Above are Giraffe, Leilani, Grace, and Miss Bliss from the first month we got them - thin, covered with muck, and exhausted.
