Make-A-Wish Utah helps parents of children fighting critical illnesses answer this by pursuing our primary purpose: To alleviate a child's suffering and make their wish come true. We do everything we can to capture a child's wish and stop at nothing to deliver it. Working with physicians, we provide that wish at the precise time essential for maximum hope and healing potency. In this way, the art and science of wish-granting unfolds.

Most wish kids overcome their illness. A wish helps a child replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope.

Since 1985, Make-A-Wish Utah has granted over 5,000 wishes to Utah children. But we're not done yet.

Last year, we granted 221 wishes and we have a goal to grant 235 in 2026.
