What is Live PC Give PC?
Live PC Give PC (livepcgivepc.org) is a one-day virtual giving event that encourages our greater Park City community to contribute to local nonprofit organizations through a single online giving platform. The campaign is organized by Park City Community Foundation in partnership with area nonprofit organizations.
How does it work?
Through a community-wide PR and marketing campaign, people are encouraged to visit livepcgivepc.org on or before November 15, 2024, and donate to nonprofit organizations. Park City Community Foundation contracts with Mightycause to provide the online giving platform.
What is the goal?
The vision of Live PC Give PC is a community where every citizen contributes to our nonprofit organizations. There are three primary goals:
- Grow philanthropy in Summit County—bring new donors to our nonprofit organizations
- Grow revenue and a funding stream for nonprofit organizations serving Summit County
- Grow supporters—educate the community on the positive impact on their lives of Summit County’s nonprofit organizations

Park City Community Foundation is leading the campaign. Park City Community Foundation is focused on creating an enduring philanthropic community for all the people of Park City.
How do I make a donation?
Click “Donate” to search for the charity you want to support, then click "donate" to enter the appropriate donation information. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to Mightycause’s friendly customer support team: 202-800-1618 or support@mightycause.com. Only donations made online with a credit or debit card between October 1 and November 15 will be a part of Live PC Give PC 2024.
Is there a minimum or maximum donation?
The minimum donation is $5. There is no maximum donation limit.
How much of the donation will go to the nonprofit?
The nonprofit organization will receive the full donation, less a flat rate of 5.9% plus $0.30, which covers the credit card processing and Mightycause platform fees, which a donor may elect to cover. Park City Community Foundation does not collect any fees on Live PC Give PC, but please consider a donation to help us cover the costs of hosting this event.
What prizes are being awarded during the campaign?
Park City Community Foundation is offering prizes during the Live PC Give PC campaign. All prizes are additional grants to nonprofit organizations. Prize information can be found under Rules & Prizes on this website.
Who will receive my contact information?
The organization(s) you choose to support will receive donor name and contact information, unless the donor chooses to make an anonymous contribution. As host of Live PC Give PC, Park City Community Foundation will receive contact information for donors who participate in Live PC Give PC and do not give anonymously. This information is used solely to thank the donor for participating, to provide the option to opt-in to receiving future notifications from Park City Community Foundation, and to notify the donor of future Live PC Give PC activities.
Can I get a refund?
All donations are final and cannot be refunded.
Do I need an account to donate?
No, you do not need to create an account to make a donation. However, if you plan to give multiple times during Live PC Give PC, creating an account means you only have to enter your credit card information once. Your account also collects your tax receipts in one location, enables you to track your donations, review the charities you support, and schedule future giving.
How do I get a tax receipt?
Upon successful processing of your donation, your tax receipt is emailed to you immediately by Mightycause Foundation. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please retain your email donation receipt as an official record.
If you misplace this email, you can view your giving history and receipts by logging into your Mightycause account, or request a duplicate receipt by emailing support@mightycause.com.
How do I become a matching donor?
Many nonprofits benefit from the generosity of matching donors on Live PC Give PC. If you are interested in becoming a matching donor for a specific cause, please reach out to that nonprofit directly.
