Live PC Give PC is a one-day event that encourages the greater Park City community to contribute to local nonprofit organizations through a single online giving platform. This giving day is coordinated by Park City Community Foundation in partnership with area nonprofits and brings in millions each year.

The vision of Live PC Give PC is to create a community where every citizen contributes to our nonprofits that help make Park City and Summit County a better place to live, work, and play.

● Grow revenue for nonprofits serving Summit County – create a new funding stream.

● Grow philanthropy in Summit County – bring new donors to our nonprofit organizations.

● Grow supporters – educate the community about the positive impact on their lives because of Summit County’s nonprofit organizations.

Park City Community Foundation leads and promotes the giving day and works with area nonprofits who take part in their own promotions. Through a community-wide PR and marketing campaign, people are encouraged to visit livepcgivepc.org on or before the giving day and donate to the nonprofits.

Live PC Give PC is an opportunity to:

1. Raise funds for your organization
2. Cultivate new donors
3. Educate community members
4. Reinvigorate lapsed donors
5. Convert check writing donors to online donors
6. Demonstrate a united, collaborative nonprofit community

To participate, nonprofit organizations must be based in Summit County, primarily serve Summit County, and/or demonstrate a significant presence in Summit County. Donations made through the livepcgivepc.org platform must be used in Summit County. By allowing nonprofits to register, Park City Community Foundation does not implicitly endorse any specific participating nonprofit or its activities. If you are already listed on Mightycause.com and registered for Live PC Give PC, you don't need to do anything except make sure your nonprofit's profile and page is updated and motivating. If you are not registered for 2024, please visit the registration page to get signed up. Please make sure your page is in tip-top condition by October 1, some folks start looking and giving by then.

Prizes are tallied using unique email addresses, so both online and offline gifts count, just be sure to include the individual's email address to be counted! Make sure you reset your metrics to begin on October 1, 2024 to include any early givers. 

Your organization will receive the full donation, less a flat rate of 5.9% plus $0.30, which covers the credit card processing and Mightycause platform fees.

Each donation made to your organization will be disbursed directly to your nonprofit from the Mightycause Foundation. To expedite your disbursement, please sign up for direct deposit in your organization's settings page.

Park City Community Foundation does not support the selling of tickets, auction items, or any other goods or services as a part of this day. The donor of any online donation cannot receive, nor be promised to receive, any valuable goods or services as a result of a Live PC Give PC donation.

You can access a real-time donation report by logging into your administrative account, going to your nonprofit page, and clicking the tab "donations." You can set the date filter and download this report into a .csv file. Mightycause also provides an online Disbursement Report so you can cross-reference transactions re-granted in your monthly disbursement. You can access this under the "donations" tab by clicking the link "Disbursements."

No, donations made through Live PC Give PC will be receipted from the Mightycause Foundation. However, we do encourage you to send a thank you note to your donors letting them know how awesome they are!

Yes! A fun way to promote Live PC Give PC is by hosting a party and inviting supporters or friends to join you in watching the community’s generosity grow and grow! You can watch the live donation tracker on livepcgivepc.org to create excitement.

Yes! However, in order for us to reach our goals for Live PC Give PC, we need you to report your offline gifts. Please report any gifts you receive via cash, check, or other non-Mightycause channel. Visit this link for more information on how to add offline gifts. 

First, check that you are registered for the event - see above. Then, navigate to your Organization's dashboard panel and click on the "Settings" button. Click "General Settings" and ensure your "Discoverability" is toggled on. If you are still not showing up in search after that, please contact support@mightycause.com.
