$75,721 Raised by 247 Donors

The Christian Center of Park City is a community resource center that helps people secure their most basic needs--like food. With the largest food pantries in Summit & Wasatch county, we provide free, healthy groceries to any resident. All funds donated through Live PC Give PC will be applied to our food pantries.

Here are some ways CCPC is fighting hunger and meeting needs:

  • Largest Food Pantries in Summit and Wasatch Counties: With locations in Park City and Heber Valley, our pantries provide healthy food to thousands of residents. Open 6 days a week, registered guests can get free groceries twice a month for their household. In 2019 we collected and distributed over 800,000 pounds of food to those in need.
  • Counseling Services: We offer 9 professionally trained mental health counselors including an APRN as a part of our Counseling Services, along with seminars and trainings throughout the year. In 2019 our counselors held a total of 3,696 sessions, 15% of which were assisted through our scholarship program.
  • Case Management: Our Case Manager provides wraparound care and ongoing support for those experiencing unexpected circumstances  – job or life transitions, major emergencies like a home fire or medical situation, unexpected repairs, homelessness, and many complicated situations in-between.
  • Hike For Hunger: An annual event hosted at Deer Valley to raise awareness about hunger issues locally and globally, and support for the Christian Center’s efforts against hunger.
  • Back 2 School Basics: This year our back to school program provided 650 local school children with brand new back to school clothing, shoes, backpacks and school supplies at the Outlets of Park City.
  • Operation Hope: 2019 was our biggest Operation Hope ever. 1,670 children in Park City and Heber Valley received over 5,000 toys generously provided by our community. We need support as we continue to expand this major program in Heber Valley.
  • Snacks in Backpacks: Each week during the school year, we deliver healthy snack bags to over 350 students, ensuring that they have healthy, easy to prepare food to eat over the weekend.
  • Food Drives: Dozens of food drives throughout the year help provide our food pantry and other programs with nonperishable food throughout the year.
  • Goshute Native American Outreach: For over 9 years, we have conducted a monthly “mobile food pantry” at the reservation, bringing healthy, fresh food to the tribe. We continue to help with the Community Garden, family and outdoor activities, and food to the Wendover Resource Center.
  • Tuesday Nite Dinners and International Student Housing: We love supporting our international student workforce throughout the winter season. Through Tuesday Nite Dinners we provide free, home cooked meals and an evening of entertainment. Our new International Student Hosting program seeks to provide host homes for student workers as an alternative to expensive, overcrowded dorm-style housing.

Thank you for your support!
