Elevated Mountain Guides

Our Mission: Elevated Mountain Guides fosters personal growth through climbing in our flagship program, Project Climb. We help participants overcome barriers, both on and off the wall, through experiential learning and challenge by choice. Designed for youth and adults facing trauma, anxiety, or social connection challenges, our curriculum promotes healing and growth within an inclusive, supportive outdoor community.

Our Story & Vision: Since launching in Salt Lake City in 2017 with the Boys and Girls Club, Project Climb has expanded to Title 1 schools, Salt Lake County Youth Services, adult recovery and female refugee programs, and Summit County youth with SOS Outreach. We’re currently developing a climbing club with Park City High School's PCCAAPS program.

Our main challenge as an organization is finding enough funding to allow our staff and volunteers the ability to do what we do best, running our programming and engaging with our community.
