Preserving Parley’s Canyon: 

We've partnered with Save Our Canyons to educate and activate individuals to protect Parley's Canyon. Our team continues to support and explore possible legislation to safeguard this natural treasure.

Reducing Diesel Emissions

Our efforts extend to reducing diesel emissions. In a recent legislative session, HEAL Utah played a pivotal role in creating legislation to study a Diesel Emissions Reduction program for the state. This program will target Inland Port diesel trucks and equipment, making a positive impact on the air quality in your region.

Embracing Clean Energy

HEAL Utah is also leading the way in clean energy initiatives, bringing solar solutions to your doorstep. We've partnered with Creative Energies to provide you with solar panel education and discounted rates. In 2021, 15 households in Park City and Summit County installed solar panels, making a significant impact on our clean energy goals.

Community Renewable Energy Program

HEAL Utah has joined forces with Utah communities served by Rocky Mountain Power to pursue 100% renewable energy goals through the Community Renewable Energy Program. So far, 18 communities have signed on, and we're committed to making sure this program continues to thrive.

Radioactive Waste Advocacy

We've worked tirelessly to expand the Radioactive Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) for Downwinders, ensuring that those affected by radioactive exposure receive the compensation they need.
