Your support will bring our resilience message to students in Park City and throughout Summit County! One Revolution has begun offering its Nametags Educational program to Utah schools free of charge.     Your support through Live PC Give PC will directly impact our ability to bring our message of resilience and perseverance to students here in Park City and Summit County, allowing us to reach our goal to deliver our message of resilience to over 25,000 students throughout Utah. 

One Revolution’s Nametags™ Educational Program, is an assembly program, using accomplished Paralympic Athletes to draw on their stories of success in the face of adversity.  The assembly program uses our motto of our Founder, Chris Waddell, “It’s not what happens to you. It’s what you do with what happens to you,” and teaches students the 4 Ss of Resilience, questions we ask ourselves when things go wrong.  Our intentionally universal message encourages students to apply our tools in resilience to see obstacles as opportunities for growth and learning instead of roadblocks.   We all face challenges. How we address our challenges determines our success.  

Nametags Educational Program looks at the labels, often the limitations, we put on ourselves and others.  Presenters inspire students to challenge those limitations, encouraging them to create Nametags - concrete representations of the goals they want to pursue and the people they want to become.

Program Goals:

•Resilience – Presenters teach students the 4 Ss of Resilience and how to apply them to the obstacles they face

•Self-Awareness – Students will be challenged to look at themselves and identify with the genius that lies within

•Inclusion – Students are encouraged to see others for their unique genius

•Perception – Presenters challenge traditionally held beliefs about what it means to be disabled
