Park City Rotary Foundation

The P.C. Rotary Foundation (Rotary Club of Park City) engages in local and international outreach programs to benefit people in communities near by and in other countries.  In years past, the Club has organized a working visit to Mayan villages in Guatemala.  These trips and the funding that the Club provides have resulted in the construction of safe water distribution systems, latrines and vented stoves for the members of the communities.

In 2017, the Rotary Club and Interact Club participated with a local nonprofit "Kids Play International"  in Rwanda. The program utilizes Sport & the Olympic Values to promote Gender Equity.

Most recently our Club has worked with the Interact Club from Park City High School and Interact students from around the state to perform service projects for the Hopi Tribe, a sovereign nation located in northeastern Arizona. 

The trip participants provide most of their own funding for ground transportation, lodging and food.  The High School students who travel with the team contribute their money, their time and their fundraising efforts.  The cost for each member of the team can be substantial and your contributions will help to defray some of the cost and allow us to include volunteers who might otherwise not be able to afford to participate.

Park City Rotary’s local and international outreach programs profoundly benefit people in need.  The students and volunteers forge lasting friendships and can be proud of what they’ve done to help less fortunate citizens of other communities.  Our service trips change the lives of everyone involved, please help make our projects a lasting, impactful success.
