Recycle Utah, is celebrating 30 years in our community! We were started by a group of local residents wishing to live in a clean, healthy, and environmentally-conscious community. At Recycle Utah, we are dedicated to promoting water conservation, recycling and reuse, and to providing environmental education and recycling/reuse services to the community.
Our mission is to empower people to lead sustainable lives, but we can’t do it on our own. Recycling, hauling and proper disposal is becoming increasingly more expensive. As today’s global recycling markets have become challenging with record low commodity prices, it’s more important than ever to support Recycle Utah. In most cases, we are paying to have your items recycled. Your help will continue to keep recyclables out of our landfills and waterways.
We have a staff of 5 full-time employees, average 400 daily visitors at the Center per day, educate 5,000 children per year through our schools program, and divert over 1,700 tons of recyclable material from the landfill annually.
As a community non-profit, it is only through your continued support that we are able to provide these invaluable services to Park City and Summit County residents. Help us make Utah a greener, cleaner place to live, work, and play by making a donation.
