$100,000 Goal

Our Mission:  REINS is dedicated to providing a healing space for emotional recovery, & empowerment, for both Humans & Horses at our private ranch facility in Oakley.  We serve women & girls, without financial means, to access equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted learning, through our scholarship program.  Our scholarship program is funded by grants and donations.

REINS frequently partners with established mental health organizations, as an impactful and unique, equine extension for their clients. Our goal is to maximize positive reach in our community, that would not otherwise be reached.  A focus for 2023 is further expanding on our relationship with the Peach House Park City, to serve their community in need of mental health services.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to serve 150 women & girls in 2023.

In addition to helping humans, REINS takes-in, rehabilitates (as needed per individual equine), and eventually retires working equines as they move through our program, together, with our participants.  Humans & Horses, Helping Each Other.  Our equines are not "working" at REINS, as they too, are being rehabilitated from a life of dedication to a former "job" (example, NYC carriage horse).  A small portion of grants and donations are applied toward herd care; unless a donors specifies it go completely to our herd.

Matching Grants THANK YOU!:
