Scouting West

Scouting West supports Cub Scout Packs and Scout Troops in developing the next generation of responsible and skilled outdoor leaders. Scouting now welcomes girls at all levels, including Eagle Scout. 

We assist with scholarships, activity fees, sustainability initiatives, and leadership continuity for Scouts in the Wasatch Back. 

As a Scouting America charter partner our units use camping as a primary tool for character development, mental and physical fitness, teaching outdoor skills, and fostering citizenship through hands-on, outdoor experiences. Camping is integral to all levels of the program, from family-centric Cub Scout outings to Scout Troop organized trips, council-run camporees, and long-term summer camp, which focus on activities like fire building, navigation, and wilderness survival.
