Sledding for Hope Inc

At Rancho Luna Lobos, our mission goes far beyond the trails. We provide a lifelong sanctuary, rehabilitation, and purpose for rescued sled dogs, blending year-round rescue operations with elite canine care and education. Every dog that comes through our gates receives a permanent home filled with proper nutrition, expert medical attention, and the chance to do what they were born to do: run, thrive, and be loved.

Immediate Needs: Fueling & Healing the Pack

To maintain the highest standard of care for our rescue and working dogs every single day, our immediate fundraising priorities focus on the essentials:

High-Performance Nutrition: Keeping an active sled dog pack healthy requires immense nutritional energy. Funding directly supports bulk dog food and specialized dietary needs tailored to working and senior rescues.

Comprehensive Veterinary Care: From routine wellness checks and vaccinations to emergency treatments and specialized senior care, keeping our dogs sound and healthy is our highest commitment.

Long-Term Vision: Infrastructure for the Future

As we look ahead, sustainable growth requires robust infrastructure designed to protect and care for our pack in all seasons:

Dedicated Barn Facility: We are raising support to construct a permanent, multi-purpose barn on the property. This facility will significantly upgrade our winter and year-round operations, providing secure shelter, specialized whelping and medical recovery stalls, and optimized feed-storage space.

Enhanced Kennels & Yard Upgrades: Continuous improvement of our regional yard layouts ensures every animal enjoys top-tier comfort, safety, and enrichment.

Fencing in our perimeter to ensure dogs cannot escape property.

Employee housing to helps us maintain the ranch and animal care 24/7. We need employees to help us with creating balance for our family while also ensuring all animals get the very best care they deserve at all times.
