South Summit Trails Foundation

Our MISSION is to enhance the lives of community members and visitors through a system of interconnected and continuous regional and community trails located throughout the South Summit area of Summit County, Utah.

As pressures from growth and development rapidly transform our region, there has never been a more crucial moment to invest in trails. By supporting the South Summit Trails Foundation now, you are helping us secure, plan, and protect vital trails that will

With the support of donors during last year's Live PC Give PC event, we had a very successful 2024, with accomplishments including:

- Continued working with the City of Oakley, private land owners, and Summit Lands Conservancy to connect pieces of land within the Weber River Pathway project (check out the video above!)

- Broke ground on phase II of the Oakely Trail Park - set to open spring 2025!  This project includes a perimeter trail for equestrian use, several bike trails with jump features, a covered pavilion, playground, and bathrooms.

- Completed the Wild Willow connector trail to provide a safe walking/biking option along Hilltop Rd in Francis

- Shared a summer trail maintenance crew with the Wasatch Trails Foundation

- Hosted community group hikes and several trail work days (thank you, volunteers!)

- Purchased and installed additional signage on our trails throughout the Kamas Valley

- Participated in events such as Recycle Utah's Harvest Festival, High Star Ranch's Fall Festival, and the Wasatch Back Economic Summit
