Summit Pride Foundation

One year ago, the Summit Pride Foundation was officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) here in Park City, UT. Summit Pride advocates for LGBTQ+ inclusion within the Wasatch Back. We could not be more thrilled with our growth in the last year, and we are so grateful for your support in making this a fabulous inaugural year. From the bottom of our hearts – thank you for your support of the Summit Pride Foundation in 2024-25! We look forward to your support today and in the new year!

In our first year, we achieved the following:

• Kicked off Winter Pride during the Utah Gay Ski Week

• Celebrated LGBTQ+ Pride Month in June, with events in Park City each week and our first Pride Kickoff Party in City Park with 300+ attendees

• Hosted monthly support meetings for parents of LGBTQ+ children

• Advocated for Park City and Summit County Pride Month Proclamations

• Distributed 300+ LGBTQ+ Pride Flags to individuals and businesses

• Facilitated “Living Libraries” for the community

• Engaged in community conversations with Mountain Mediation

• Awarded $2,500 scholarships for two graduating high school seniors

In the coming year, we are planning the following:

• Implement the strategic vision crafted with Pathway Group

• Host monthly community gatherings

• Achieve a more consistent web and social media presence to inform the community

• Expand programming during the Utah Gay Ski Week

• Build a resource guide for LGBTQ+ and allied businesses and services in the Wasatch Back

• Expand advocacy into Wasatch County

• Enlarge scholarships for Park City and South Summit High Schools
