The Summit County Recovery Foundation (SCRF) was founded in 2014 to support the financial needs of participants in Summit County's Drug Court. While continuing to offer monetary assistance to Drug Court, SCRF is dedicated to support and advocacy for individuals and families as they confront - and recover from - the diseases of drug/alcohol addiction. SCRF is dedicated to saving lives, bolstering families and educating the community regarding substance abuse and addiction.
In 2024-25, SCRF will continue to support: Transitional costs (housing, clothing, food, transportation, job search, etc.) for individuals entering Drug Court/leaving jail; graduates beginning their lives of recovery after Drug Court and/or jail; expunging criminal records of Drug Court graduates; and, recovery/transitional costs for Summit County Drug Court/jail inmates. In addition, SCRF supports career education courses for Drug Court graduates and inmates dedicated to sobriety and recovery.
(Please note: SCRF has no office, no employees, less than $4000 annually in overhead costs. Donations are reserved for supporting its mission).
