Serving Summit County

Timpanogos Legal Center provides free civil legal help to Summit County residents who cannot afford an attorney or who are experiencing domestic violence or abuse. From July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, Summit County residents accessed TLC legal services 84 times, primarily through our Legal Advice Hotline.

Through our hotline and Online Legal Advice Clinic, Summit County residents can speak directly with attorneys about family law, abuse and housing matters without cost or the need to travel outside the county.

Every day, Utahns face legal challenges they cannot navigate alone.

Timpanogos Legal Center provides free legal help to individuals and families facing abuse, housing instability, and family law issues across the state.

Many do not know where to start. TLC helps them take the first step. A single conversation can provide clarity, direction, and the ability to move forward.

Our attorneys and trained volunteers deliver services through three core programs:

• Legal Advice Hotline: Phone consultations with an attorney for legal advice, court procedures, safety planning and referrals. Available to Summit County residents and Utahns statewide.
• Legal Advice Clinics: Online and in-person appointments where clients meet with attorneys to discuss their cases and create a plan of action. Summit County residents can access the Online Legal Advice Clinic remotely.
• Document Preparation Clinic: Assistance drafting, reviewing and refining legal paperwork for eligible self-represented clients.

These programs are accessible to residents throughout Utah, available statewide including rural communities, through remote and virtual service options.
