Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation
Healthy Communities, Latinx Inclusion & Scholarship Fund
Whether it's impacting the children at McPolin and Treasure Mountain through physical education classes and camps, ensuring all free/reduced lunch children receive free participation in our introductory sports, following the Solomon Fund's lead and aiming for 20% Latinx participation in our programs or encouraging Park City natives to pursue their athletic dreams, Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is there for ALL of our youth.
With children’s participation in physical activity (24% reach CDC daily recommendation) and organized sport (70% “retire” by age 13) at such alarming rates, we strongly believe in the power of sport and its ability to promote a lifelong love of physical and healthy lifestyles. Our programs, regardless of race, gender, ability level or economic means, foster social, emotional and leadership skills that children take with them throughout life
Through partnerships with local school districts, including physical education classes, after school and summer school, we provide transportation, equipment, field time and instruction to the youth in our Olympic venue communities. These sport-centered camps, classes and development programs now include Learn to Sport, cross-country skiing, skating, biathlon, Multi-Sport (swimming, pickle ball, bouldering, gymnastics, karate and more) and our G-Force Skeleton program.
UOLF and our Healthy Communities initiative is targeting youth, socio-economically underserved, racial/gender diversity and the residents in our communities who need it most through partnerships with school districts, health care organizations, companies and other non-profits.
Please join this initiative, get involved, volunteer, reach out to us and donate today! Thank you!
