Wasatch Trails Foundation

The Wasatch Trails Foundation (WTF) strives to create memorable experiences for our community. Our small team of one full time Executive Director and four seasonal trail crew members, is always busy with trail maintenance, exploring new areas to build trails, and expanding our tribe of WTF Members. Even in winter (thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers) we curate 16+ miles of groomed singletrack for fat biking and snowshoeing. Heard of our recent accomplishments? WOWZA + TALL T aka Bonanza to WOW - a connector trail in partnership with the Mountain Trails Foundation - WTF secured the grant-funding for the first major trail connection between Wasatch and Summit Counties back in '19 and we are finally putting the finishing touches on it. WHOA Trail aka Springer Hollow DH - an advanced/expert downhill MTB trail, hand dug by our crew, our board, and a dedicated group of community volunteers. Southfield Park Asphalt All Wheels Pumptrack - just like it sounds, an all abilities, all ages asphalt pumptrack, the first of it's kind in Wasatch and Summit Counties. Snake Creek to Soldier Hollow Connector Trail - we are currently in the process of fundraising to conduct a feasibility study for the Heber Valley's first mid-slope trail connecting the Northern and Southern points of the Wasatch Mountain State Park aka Phase 1 of the Heber Halo (an interconnected trail system around the entire Heber Valley...sssssssshhhhhh it's still sort of a secret :)
