Our mission is to empower women and community through mountain biking by creating an environment of acceptance, encouragement, growth, and education.  

Our vision is to do this by collaborating with other organizations to offer events, rides, educational opportunities, resources, and a social network.

At WomenMTB, we believe every woman and woman-identifying person deserves the chance to discover confidence, strength, and joy on the trail. In a sport that has long been male-dominated, we’re creating a safe, welcoming space for women and nonbinary riders to learn, ride, and lead, without judgment and with the support of a diverse, empowering community.

Each year, WomenMTB hosts hundreds of rides, clinics, and events across Utah and throughout the West, helping riders of all skill levels build technical skills, find riding partners, and form lasting friendships. From local group rides to destination camping trips, every experience we offer is made possible through the generosity and support of our community.

Your contribution directly funds instructor training, equipment, scholarships, and the continued growth of inclusive mountain biking opportunities for women and nonbinary riders.

We feel that if we start building confidence in women, that naturally transfers to their offspring. When we add opportunities to ride together and take skills clinics for a broad range of riders, we see confidence spike, dreams being fulfilled and those reaching their greatest potential.  

A positive social network and bits of success are the equation.  When women experience success in one area, we realize our power and can transfer that to another area.
