Support Hablemos Club as we empower and inspire bilingual students at Ecker Hill!
Hablemos is a vibrant after-school Spanish club open to all Ecker Hill Middle School students who want to practice and build their Spanish-speaking skills in a fun, welcoming environment.
Led by passionate Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Spanish teachers Rebeca Gonzalez and Ashlie Pulleiro, our club provides a space where students can connect through culture, build confidence, and strengthen their bilingual skills—while having fun!
This year, we’ve expanded to include 6th through 8th graders, and our participation has grown to over 60 students. With this growth, so has our need for resources and supplies to keep our weekly activities engaging and meaningful.
Your support will help us
- Purchase materials for cultural and language-based activities.
- Provide healthy snacks for students after school
- Fund creative projects and leadership opportunities
- Keep the club free and open to all students, regardless of financial situation
Our yearly budget is just $1,400, and we have only $800 left to cover expenses for the rest of the year. Every dollar you donate goes directly toward enriching student experiences and helping them celebrate their language, identity, and community. Together, we can ensure that every student continues to learn, grow, and find pride in their bilingual journey.
Thank you for helping us keep Hablemos strong! Your generosity helps us empower our bilingual youth and build a stronger, more connected community.
