Girls Flag Football is an exciting and rapidly growing addition to Park City High School athletics, providing female student-athletes with an opportunity to compete, develop leadership skills, build confidence, and experience the benefits of team sports.

Park City was part of the inaugural Utah high school girls flag football season in 2025. The program began with two teams—Park City Red and Park City Black—and quickly demonstrated strong interest and participation from local student-athletes.

The program has continued to grow into its second year, with approximately 45 athletes and three Park City teams. This growth reflects the increasing interest in girls flag football and the demand for opportunities for female athletes to participate in a competitive football environment.

Girls Flag Football also creates an important pathway for younger athletes. With middle-school girls flag football now being introduced locally, there is an opportunity to establish a strong pipeline from youth and middle-school programs into Park City High School athletics.

The sport's continued growth nationally, including its planned Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games, provides additional momentum and visibility for girls flag football.

Girls flag football is currently a club sport and does not receive any school district funding. Your donation goes directly toward essential needs, including equipment, tournament and game expenses, and player scholarships.
