Liberty Sanctuary is pleased to take part in Park City's giving event, Live PC Give PC and we need you on board! Please consider a donation to Liberty on behalf of America's Most Vulnerable Equines. This year was full of progress and development and we appreciate your support. Any gift you can make today will help support our horses and programs in 2025. All donations will be doubled up to a cumulative $20,000 thanks to generous matching donors. All donations are tax deductible.
THIS YEAR WE HAVE...
- Hired a game changing Director of Horsemanship, Ashley Dudas, who has made such an impact in developing and adopting out our horses
- Rescued 10 additional horses this year (and adopted out 9)
- Offered free horsemanship clinics through the fall to the public
- Incurred a significant amount of medical costs in neutering colts and keeping the herd healthy
- Developed expertise and donated time offering medical assistance to other local sanctuaries
- Cared for 30 rescues on property who cost $80K in hay alone
- Launched a groundbreaking advocacy tool, SAFEACT.ORG in support of our legislative efforts to help pass the Save America's Forgotten Equines Act to forever ban the export of American horses for slaughter
- Begun to develop a documentary on the horse slaughter industry to give voices to the voiceless
Liberty Sanctuary is a leading equine nonprofit dedicated to protecting America’s most vulnerable horses and banning the slaughter of our cherished American equines. We rescue equines from the slaughter pipeline and offer comprehensive care, training, and adoption programs. Our national advocacy efforts include launching SAFEACT.org to support the Save America's Forgotten Equines Act (SAFE Act, HR. 3475) currently in Congress to forever ban the export of American horses for slaughter. Our work has been featured on ABC News, Fox News, Good Things Utah, Good Day Utah, Salt Lake Tribune, Park Record, NPR, and more. (Liberty News)
