Mountain Mediation Center - "Let's Talk" Training

In our current society, we are taught that effective communication means proving your point. The reality is that most problems are not simple, and there often is not a single solution. To improve overall discourse, we aim to move towards communication to understand and  connect with one another rather than communication to convince. This can help individuals as well as entire communities elevate and have more productive and respectful discourse. 

Let’s Talk was developed in 2023 by Park City Leadership Class 29 as a skills-based communication training program to improve engagement in the workplace, at community meetings, and in your own home. It is based on science-backed techniques for being confident in the ability to listen and communicate with others effectively. Let’s Talk was initially sponsored by Park City Municipal Corporation, Mountain Mediation Center, Park City Community Foundation, and the Park City Chamber of Commerce.  

Upon the conclusion of the Leadership Class in October 2023, Let's Talk became housed with Mountain Mediation Center.  Support us in our efforts to bring this important training to the entire community!
