Will you be part of the legacy and help us preserve this critical landmark of our mining history?
Built over 100 years ago, the Silver King Mill is a key part of the Silver King Coalition Mine National Historic District, designated in December 2024. With a footprint that makes it one of the largest historic mining structures still standing in the United States, the Silver King Mill is an irreplaceable industrial landmark. The Mill represents the entire history of Park City's mining era, from the Gilded Age fortunes of Kearns, Keith, Judge, and Ivers, through the modernization of the 1920s, and the decline after World War II.
MISSION: Preserving Park City's unique mountain mining history for future generations.
We are deeply grateful for your partnership in saving history. Learn more about our work on the Park City Museum's Mining website.
