When YSA was founded more than two decades ago, our mission was simple: encourage local children to discover the joy of winter sports through the venues and spirit left in the wake of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics.  Today, that mission has grown into something much bigger.

Each year, more than 6,000 young people participate in YSA afterschool programs or train with one of our partner sport clubs. Together, we've helped create a world-class youth sports culture in Utah. Our pathway begins with a child's very first day on snow, trails, or fields and, for some, continues all the way to collegiate athletics, national teams, and even the Olympic Games.

Every child deserves the chance to experience the joy and benefits of sport—regardless of their family's financial circumstances. Your donation provides critical funding to ensure that children have the resources they need to participate in YSA programs. Contributions help cover:
